This is a Modified Log Cabin Quilt Block. This is the second quilt block my grandmother taught me. This is such a quick quilt block to put together, it is very easy to create runners, placemats and quilts with this pattern in a weekend or just a couple of days.
This pattern is easy to put together and a lot of fun. Looks great in any colors or use your scrap bag fabric.
You can layout the blocks in so many different patterns once you have made a bunch of them.
There is a Christmas Table Placemat Pattern that comes with this download along with fabric yardage measurements to complete it a couple different ways.
Included also are Rotary Cutting instructions and Paper Piecing Templates.
